Fungal Nails – Laser Treatment

We are pleased to be able to offer an advanced laser treatment for fungal nail infections at The Perth Podiatrists – Glengarry.

We have chosen to use the Fox laser manufactured by A.R.C. Laser. This is a powerful class 4 medical laser, which we believe to be the current best option for the treatment of fungal nail infections and allows patients to negate the need for topical nails solutions that require daily filing and applications with poor success. The Perth Podiatrists believe the Fox laser to be a safer option for treatment rather than oral fungal nail tablets which may affect your liver and require monthly blood tests to monitor the liver functions. Please see the short video below.

As part of a comprehensive treatment program, nail laser therapy offers a convenient way to rid of your unsightly nails. At The Perth Podiatrists we recommend an early assessment to achieve greater success and prevent the spread of you nail fungus through other toe nails, your family members or partners. Success rates of above 70% have been reported with moderately infected nails.
